Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort Hotel

All in all this was a GREAT stay. Let’s start with the cons (which are very few), gyro place was closed, no breakfast like hotel amenities stated, drink vending machine inside pool area which cannot be accessed after a certain time, and super uncomfortable beds. None of this was really a super big deal however because the beauty of the property, and the friendliness of the staff was out of this world. If you’re nit-picky about goofy stuff, this hotel is NOT for you, but if you’re laid back and here for a great and relaxing vacation then I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. After a long day on the beach and in the hot sun, it sure was my favorite part of vacation to come back here and sit at the table under all the beautiful palms, watching all the wildlife, sharing a laugh with all the great people and truly enjoying our stay in Florida. Thank you to all the staff here, to Chris for bringing us a taste of back home and for the opportunity to be at this wonderful hotel. Hope to see you all again very soon. Nicolette & Jason

Pool is free to guest without tracking bands and all the hassle I feel relaxed and the beach is short walk

A vintage, family owned hotel with lush courtyards. Our room had 2 queen beds and full kitchen. The decor is somewhat dated but very clean and comfortable. The large and deep pool is heated and adjacent to the Tiki bar which serves reasonably priced drinks and staffed by very friendly bartenders; Mario and Janice. The location is awesome; Ocean Drive and a quick walk (maybe 2-3 minutes) from the sandy beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. This property is unique in that it is surrounded by high rise condos to the front and beautiful homes to the rear and is that special oasis from days past which has not been consumed by the typical south Florida building craze. Definitely a hidden gem and well worth the price.

Staff were very friendly, as was the bar staff. Location was near the Lauderdale by the sea area. which is a lovely area. Would recommend this hotel.

The room was good sized and really clean every day. That was very nice. Beds are comfortable! Beach is pretty close. Easy walking distance. James and Janice were awesome at the Tiki Hut! Pool was very warm!! Lots of things to do within walking distance. We never ate at the restaurant other than the continental breakfast but heard the gyros are excellent.
